In this task you are to type a text, set its format, create a table, and insert images
1. Type the following text:
Seven Wonders of The World
The list of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World can be traced back to the fifth century B.C. when Greek historian Herodotus marvelled about some of the Wonders. These creations rivaled many created by nature in their size, majesty, and beauty. Six of the seven wonders no longer stand, having been destroyed by natural disaster or by humans. The only Wonder still standing and the oldest one is the The Great Pyramid of Giza also known as the Pyramid of Khufu (or Cheops) in Egypt.
Although it has been argued that other ancient wonders of comparable regard such as the Great Wall of China, Machu Picchu in Peru, and the Aztec Temple in Tenochtitlan in Mexico should have been mentioned, these may not have been known about by the Greeks who first proposed Wonders for the list.
The Hanging Gardens of Babylon
The Temple of Artemis at Ephesus
The Statue of Zeus at Olympia
The Mausoleum at Halicarnassus
The Colossus of Rhodes
The Pharos of Alexandria
Set the following format parameters:
- justify,
- hyphenation (menu Tools| Language| Hyphenation, in Hyphenation dialog check Automatically hyphenate document).
Recommended font size, type, and characteristics:
- "Seven wonders... ", " The Pyramid…" etc..: Times New Roman, 12, regular.
- "The Hanging Gardens of Babylon…": Times New Roman, 12, bold.
2. Create a table of 4 rows and 2 columns using the Table|Insert|Table menu.
3.Insert the first picture wonder1.jpg directly into the descriptive text. It is inserted to the current cursor position through the Insert| Picture| From File menu or by Insert Picture button  on the Picture Toolbar. Then in the Format Picture dialog brought up by Format|Picture menu, set the layout to Square, then drag the picture to the right place in text. Text wrapping can also be set with the help of  button on the toolbar. Other pictures must be placed in the table in the following way: wonder2.jpg - under The Hanging Gardens of Babylon; wonder3.jpg - under The Temple of Artemis at Ephesus; wonder4.jpg - under The Statue of Zeus at Olympia; wonder5.jpg - under The Mausoleum at Halicarnassus; wonder6.jpg - under The Colossus of Rhodes; wonder7.jpg - under The Pharos of Alexandria. Text and pictures in the table are aligned to the center with Before and After Spacing set to 3 pt. (Format|Paragraph menu, Indents and Spacing tab).
The completed document will look like P-12_2.doc.
