As mentioned above, Word enables users to work with a wide range of graphics. First of all, let's consider the objects associated with particular instructions on the Insert | Picture menu. Those instructions help to add graphics to existing document. The types of objects inserted may be different: Clip Art picture, image From File on the disk, AutoShapes regular geometric figure, WordArt text, or a Chat.
Though graphics in the document may be functionally different, they have a common basis, and Word provides a number of similar graphics processing tools. When selected, all graphic objects look the same on the screen. They are placed inside a rectangle with white markers on its sides and angles. To set the image view, Word provides the Picture Toolbar. Its tools are listed in Table 1.
